Save Our Nurseries: Media Campaign

iNHouse PR was delighted to launch the next phase of the Save Our Nurseries campaign recently. The campaign is designed to help raise awareness of changes to Government funding which could affect up to a million nursery places in the UK. The activity coincided with the campaign team meeting with Minister for Children and Families, Beverley Hughes, where they called on her to reverse the planned changes for next year.

At less than a week's notice, iNHouse PR secured slots on the Today Programme and ITN Lunchtime News and coverage appeared in The Times, Daily Mail and Evening Standard.

Campaign Leader Anne-Marie True said: "Those of us in the nursery field care passionately about the education of our youngsters and we're grateful to iNHouse PR for helping us at such short notice. We reached millions of people and it will really help us gain even more support for our campaign."

Commenting on the campaign, iNHouse PR Director Katie Perrior, said: "This is the type of campaign that we went into business to help. The group are taking on the weight of the Government machine and need support in raising awareness for their cause. We were delighted with the results and look forward to spotting future opportunities so the campaign can reach even more people."
