Nick Boles: Good Neighbours
This philanthropic initiative, headed by Nick Boles, the former director of Britain's leading think tank Policy Exchange, is designed to help youth groups working in some of the most deprived parts of London raise money from those generating new wealth in the City.
Good Neighbours aims to provide a matchmaking service between grassroots organisations and the individuals and businesses that are currently enjoying the greatest financial success in London. Good Neighbours will also offers ways for Londoners to donate small sums of money or volunteer their time to support these important projects operating across the city. Good Neighbours is already working with groups like XLP in South London and the Eastside Young Leaders Academy in East London.
iNHouse PR created a launch event in the heart of Canary Wharf overlooking the Reuters building and its share price ticker for just a few hundred pounds. Entertainment was provided by a budding young singer, MC Flash, who participated in clubs run by one of the youth groups based in Lewisham.
As well as creating a huge buzz in London, coverage appeared in the Evening Standard, The Times, Daily Telegraph, Guardian, BBC London, Sunrise Radio and LBC.
