iNHouse aids Heels That Heal campaign

iNHouse Communications is delighted to help launch the Heels That Heal campaign – a unique collaboration between Wellbeing of Women and the News of the World’s Fabulous magazine which aims to raise 500,000 pounds to fund vital research into chronically under–funded women’s health issues.

Over 40 top celebrities including Kylie Minogue, Cheryl Cole and the Prime Minister’s Wife Sarah Brown have come together to launch a groundbreaking new campaign to help save women’s lives today – with a little help from their high–heeled shoes.

The star–studded list of top UK personalities – which also includes Amanda Holden, Peaches Geldof and Fearne Cotton – is throwing its support behind ‘Heels That Heal’.

Online Auction

The ambitious fundraising target will be given a kick–start with an online auction of designer high–heeled shoes and money–can’t–usually–buy experiences donated by celebrities, available from this Sunday (27 September). The Prime Minister’s Wife Sarah Brown, Patron of WoW, is backing the campaign.  She guest–edited a special women’s health edition of Fabulous Magazine earlier in July and has donated her Jimmy Choos for auction on eBay.  The eBay auction includes 50 fantastic lots such as Kylie Minogue’s and Cheryl Cole’s designer shoes, lunch with Peter Andre, afternoon tea with Rachel Stevens and a shopping trip with Amanda Holden. Find a full list later on our website or visit www.heelsthatheal.co.uk

Hot Shots

For the launch, over twenty celebrities have posed in a series of sexy shots, wearing their highest and hottest heels.  Kelly Brook, Amanda Holden, Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly, Vernon Kay and Mel B are just some of the glamorous high profile names who are strutting their stuff in support of the cause.

A complete set of 16 eye–catching shots will be showcased in Fabulous magazine, free with News of the World this Sunday (27 September).

Familiar faces from music, sport, TV and radio have pledged their support, from pop star Kylie Minogue to newsreaders Fiona Bruce, Kate Silverton, Emma Crosby and Julia Etchingham, who have shed their serious image to pose in their favourite heels.

The auction items go on sale at 8pm this Sunday (27th September) on eBay.  More information on the campaign can be found at www.heelsthatheal.co.uk
