28-09-2007 Boris appoints iNHouse PR for Mayoral Campaign

Boris Johnson was today declared the Conservative Candidate in the May 2008 election for London Mayor.

The result follows the conclusion of the first London-wide primary run by any political party. The campaign saw Boris undertake an ambitious programme of visiting all of London's boroughs in under three weeks.

iNHouse PR was the retained agency for the primary selection process and is delighted Boris has asked to iNHouse to continue through to the Mayoral election in 2008.

Commenting on his victory, Boris Johnson said:

"I want to be a Mayor for all Londoners, from Zone 6 to Zone 1. A Mayor that will listen, will learn and will lead."

Commenting on working with iNHouse PR, he added,

"The iNHouse team are a first rate outfit. They are insightful and fast moving with an unbeatable return of serve."

Katie Perrior, Director of iNHouse PR said:

"It has been a huge pleasure to work with Boris over the past few months and throughout the Primary we are glad he has received the backing he deserves. Touring 32 boroughs on the Boris Routemaster bus has been inspiring and we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to take this campaign forward to May 2008."
