10-01-2007 Diabetes UK use iNHouse to raise profile
iNHouse PR has been appointed to lead the Diabetes UK Public Relations and Public Affairs team.
Director Katie Perrior will work on a part-time basis leading the present team of five with a specific focus on raising the profile of Diabetes UK amongst the broadcast media. There are currently over 2 million people with diabetes in the UK and there are up to another 750,000 people with diabetes who have the condition and do not yet know it.
Commenting on the appointment, Katie Perrior said: "Diabetes UK is a well respected charity which successfully carries out its important role for those already affected by diabetes and helping to educate people about the importance of healthy lifestyles. I am looking forward to working with the team to place new and interesting stories, and to raise the profile of the fantastic work the organisation does."
