12-04-2007 iNHouse to promote Montessori Centenary
iNHouse PR has been appointed to help celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the opening of the first Montessori school.
Dr Maria Montessori started her Children's House in the slums of Rome in 1907 and there are now more than 22,000 Montessori schools around the world, spread across more than 100 countries. In the UK, an estimated 50,000 children currently attend UK Montessori schools.
The focus of the Montessori Centenary is a call to action - a call to reinvigorate the Montessori Movement and activity will be centred around a week of events in mid June.
