12-05-2008 iNHouse PR launch iNHouse LONDON
iNHouse PR is proud to have been the sole public relations provider to the Boris Johnson campaign for Mayor of London. Now, following Boris Johnson's remarkable victory, it is launching a new venture called 'iNHouse LONDON'.
For the past 10 months the team at iNHouse lived and breathed London. We submersed ourselves in London's issues and met with stakeholders, community leaders and London residents the length and breadth of the capital.
We learnt a huge amount on the journey with Boris and can confidently say that we have now advised on every major aspect of current policy in London. From Hammersmith to Havering, Hillingdon to Harrow and Ealing to Enfield, we know the issues that matter - from planning, waste management, the urban environment to crime and disorder, public transport, housing and many, many more.
We have had to deal with a variety of different situations, good and bad, that have tested the strength of the iNHouse team. While the energy, ideas and enthusiasm of Boris and his campaign team cannot be understated, iNHouse is proud to have played a part in the victory on May 1st. Described as a "the most searingly difficult PR job" (PR Week, 20.07.07) less than ten months ago, we now believe that the experience and knowledge we have accumulated will be greatly valued by organisations looking to understand and work with the new administration. Therefore we are pleased to establish iNHouse LONDON to act as the means for doing so.
Co-director of iNHouse PR, Katie Perrior, said:
"The past 10 months have been an incredible journey. It has been my pleasure to work for Boris and so closely with key journalists and stakeholders throughout the campaign. The victory on May 1st will live long in the memory, but we are a growing company and the formation of iNHouse LONDON is the next step in our evolution. I would urge any organisation looking to get a foothold in London politics, or looking for a PR agency that will improve their communications in London, to contact us at iNHouse LONDON and see what we can do for them."
Co-director of iNHouse PR, Jo Tanner, said:
"The overwhelming view in London was that Boris Johnson's campaign had the most original ideas and clarity of vision - a fact that was reflected in the final result. iNHouse is proud of the achievement and work that went into securing the support of titles as diverse as The Sun to The Sunday Telegraph for Boris Johnson's campaign. Our next step is to ensure that we put our experience and knowledge to work for new clients."
